[ December 2024 Report ]

The close of 2024 marked a period of significant progress and achievement, setting the stage for an even more promising 2025. A key milestone on our roadmap is the tentative TGE, with preliminary planning scheduled for Spring 2025. This event will serve as a catalyst, propelling us towards the highly anticipated launch of Mainnet Phase 2.

Our current focus is two-fold: we are actively fostering the growth of a dynamic and engaged community while simultaneously ensuring that our ecosystem is primed for substantial adoption and real-world impact. This involves a multi-faceted approach, encompassing strategic partnerships, technical developments and integrations, and community outreach initiatives.

  • Mainnet Update
We released a new Mainnet version (mainnet-2025-jan-14) on January 14, 2025, alongside Space Acres 0.2.11 — fixing piece cache sync in cluster mode, tightening up block propagation after new history segments, and introducing gateway improvements. No replotting is needed, but timely upgrading is crucial to maintaining network stability and optimal performance.

  • EVM Scalability Upgrade
We have released to our persistent Taurus testnet an upgrade with many execution optimizations, bringing above 2000 TPS on EVM with more optimizations to come prior to TGE.
  • Bandwidth Scalability Design
We are researching verifiable erasure coding to enable on-demand data sharding, aiming to drastically increase data throughput compared to traditional sharding. Rather than segmenting the network into fixed, capacity-limited sections called shards, Autonomys is developing a system that generates on-demand new shards dynamically, encoding them into easily recoverable chunks. This innovation has the potential to scale data throughput by up to 1,000x, cementing our positioning as the most scalable blockchain.

  • 1M Block Milestone
Our consensus chain passed 1 million blocks on January 16th, a testament to our network stability and sustained community support. This milestone not only reflects the enduring reliability of our core infrastructure, but also underscores the dedication of the farmers, developers, and Autonauts who power everyday operations.

  • Auto Agent Framework v0.2.0
Our latest Auto Agent Framework release now supports more complex orchestration, letting AI agents plan and execute tasks beyond simple scripted workflows. We’ve also introduced a multi-character setup and an enhanced Memory Viewer that accommodates multiple agents (including Argu-Mint and Agree-mint), with support for vector databases and memory resurrection. In addition, saveExperience allows agents to autonomously and permanently store unstructured data on Autonomys. Taken together, these upgrades offer richer, more autonomous behaviors and an improved developer experience.

  • Argu-Mint v2 Released
Argu-Mint (v2) is now live, leveraging our open-source Auto Agent Framework to demonstrate how developers can create on-chain autonomous agents with permanent, verifiable memory. This release includes a comprehensive demo and an explainer article — showcasing the tamper-proof, decentralized data capabilities of the Autonomys Network.

  • TGE (Spring 2025):
Token transferability will be enabled, token unlock cycle begins, and our Auto EVM domain launches as we prepare for Phase-2.
  • ETH Denver & Consensus Hong Kong:
We’re securing a strong presence at ETHDenver and Consensus Hong Kong, leveraging both events to demo our Auto Agent Framework and Auto SDK, and to forge real-time community connections. This strategic outreach feeds directly into our GTM efforts, drawing developers, investors, and ecosystem partners into the AI3.0 ecosystem.
  • Capital Raise Rounds:
We’re exploring fundraising opportunities to drive product development, global market entry, and ecosystem development — laying the foundation for sustained growth in AI-driven, decentralized infrastructure. Simultaneously, the Subspace Foundation’s node sale will further decentralize the network, bringing on new participants who will help secure and expand the protocol.

“We’re approaching a defining moment in our journey. Our upcoming token launch marks not an end but the beginning of a new chapter for our community. I want to thank each and every one of you for your unwavering support and active participation. Together, we’ll continue to push boundaries and shape the future of AI-powered decentralization. Your trust and commitment have built the foundation for a truly transformative experience, and I’m excited to share the next chapter of Autonomys with all of you.”
